SAMMY WEBBER - BASS PLAYER & VOCALS

Started playing bass guitar from age of 19 years.

In 1982 he was asked to play in a popular show "Carnival District Six" run by "Taliep Petersen a very succesful S.A. Musical playwriter.

In 1983 Co- founded a 6 piece band call "Funtime" which backed popular South African artists touring throughout South Africa and neighbouring states.

In 1988 formed a successful duo called "U-Turn".

In 1993 joined Jazz Fusion Band "Inside Out" which was resident at "The Galaxy", Cape Town's most famous club.

In 1994 he was approached to join "Virtual Jazz Reality"(VJR).
His composition on the Debut CD "Dreams Fulphilled" reached no one on P4 Radio Top 40.

In 1999 he toured Turkey and Tunisia with British Sax Player "Andrew Young".

He is frequently asked to host Bass Guitar Workshops.
